Five members of the Student Activities Council (SAC) traveled to the National Association for Campus Activities (NACA) Live conference in Columbus, Ohio from Feb. 13–16. The event brings together hundreds of colleges and universities from across the country for one of the nation’s premier campus programming conferences.

The delegation included student leaders representing key programming areas, such as Shocker night life, arts, and culture. Throughout the four-day conference, students participated in educational sessions, networking opportunities, and live on- and off-stage performances designed to showcase potential entertainment and programming options for college campuses.

NACA Live emphasizes purposeful learning, meaningful connection, and engaging entertainment. Attendees gained valuable skills in event planning, leadership, and collaboration while building relationships with peers, performers, and industry professionals. The National Association for Campus Activities serves as a national hub connecting higher education institutions with artists, agencies, and vendors to enhance campus life through impactful programming.

The conference experience equips student leaders with tools to design events that bring students together and strengthen campus involvement. These programs help foster community and create opportunities for students to connect outside the classroom.

SAC members returned energized and prepared to implement new ideas that will enhance the student experience at Wichita State.
