Ages 10-17

WSU Summer Treble Choir camp

This is a week long day choir camp for students grades 4-11. It happens in conjunction with the WSU Summer Kodaly Program, which is a two week long workshop for music teachers. The cost includes five days of rehearsal led by internationally known children's choir conductor Elaine Quilichini and a Friday evening concert. Campers will also have free time in the Shocker bowling alley and the Heskett Center.

Ages 14-20

Digital Filmmaking Summer Camp

Shocker Studios, in partnership with The Walser Foundation, is offering a summer camp to area high school students focusing on digital filmmaking. The camp will be five days long ending with a showcase of student work open to friends and family.

Cost: $200, covers all equipment and afternoon snacks. Scholarships for the cost of attendance are available.

Practicing music teachers

WSU Summer Kodaly Workshop

This is an intensive two-week workshop for music teachers studying the Kodaly Method. Participants who complete three levels of the workshop over the three summers gain certification in the Kodaly Method. Participants may also take the workshop for credit which can lead to a WSU certificate in Kodaly and toward a master'ss degree in music education.
