April 18, 2019 -- Wichita State University has partnered with the Kansas National Guard and Cadet Command Army ROTC to begin offering a Senior Reserve Officer Training Corps (ROTC) program.

April 17, 2019 -- The U.S. Small Business Administration’s National SBIR Road Tour is coming to Kansas City, Kansas Tuesday, May 21, as part of a 16-stop tour to connect entrepreneurs working on advanced technology to the country’s largest source of early stage funding – the Small Business Innovation Research and Small Business Technology Transfer programs.

April 16, 2019 -- Wichita State University will host the second annual Neurodiversity Awareness Week: Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), a series of events to take place April 22 - 25, 2019.

April 15, 2019 -- Brady Hatter sees the university campus as a giant garden. And every garden, he says, is a potential gallery in need of art. This Earth Day, Hatter will make his latest artistic contribution to the Wichita State canvas when his Earth Pod west of the Woodman Alumni Center is dedicated as part of the Earth Day Picnic at the Pod from 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. Monday, April 22.

April 15, 2019 -- A series of events honoring the life of late Wichita State President John Bardo will be held May 6-10 on campus. Dr. Bardo, the 13th president of WSU, died March 12 after a long illness.

April 8, 2019 -- Wichita State summer classes provide high-achieving students with the opportunity to get ahead in their courses, graduate sooner and launch their careers quicker. 

April 8, 2019 -- Delta Air Lines is No. 1, and JetBlue is No. 2, according to the 29th annual Airline Quality Rating (AQR), released today, Monday, April 8. The AQR is the most comprehensive study of performance and quality of the largest airlines in the United States. The rating is a multifactor examination of the airlines based on mishandled baggage, consumer complaints, on-time performance and involuntary denied boardings.

April 5, 2019 -- Wichita State University is one of just 78 universities and colleges in the United States to be named to the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society's 2019 Transfer Honor Roll.

April 2, 2019 -- A $10.4 million contract to build a new Student-Athlete Success Center and renovate parts of Charles Koch Arena at Wichita State University has been awarded to Hutton, a Wichita-based construction firm.

March 29, 2019 -- March 27 marked another advancement in the partnership between Butler Community College and Wichita State University. A total of 17 articulation agreements were signed at Butler’s Andover 5000 Building in the company of Butler and WSU administration and faculty.
