May 7, 2010 — By WSU News Services — A Facebook request to WuShock, Wichita State University's mascot, resulted in the mascot traveling to Denver May 7-8 to meet and encourage Zach Mesch, a former WSU student who performed as WuShock last year. But first, the band will hold a memorial concert at the Colorado memorial for the Wichita State plane crash. The band expects to arrive at the memorial site on I-70 at 4 p.m. Friday, May 14.
