Dec 13, 2016 — By WSU News Services — The week of Dec. 19, requisitions are due by noon Wednesday, Dec. 21, and checks will be released on Thursday, Dec. 22, from the WSU Foundation. The week of Dec. 25, the WSU Foundation will not process any requisitions except for emergencies. The week of Jan. 1, requisitions are due by 5 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 4, and checks will be released on Friday, Jan. 6.

Dec 7, 2016 — By WSU News Services — High school seniors gathered at Wichita State last month to compete for the two $60,000 Gore Scholarships. The competition grew by 121 students this year -- a nearly 32 percent increase -- for a total of 501 student competitors. Students from all over the country and Kansas competed, with 100 hailing from out-of-state and 84 from the Wichita USD 259 district. In all, more than 1,000 people visited
