For students and parents: How to access services at Wichita State University

Wichita State University continues to maintain all operations to fully support our students during this unprecedented time. Our staff is now working remotely to offer our programs and services through alternative paths.

We remain committed to helping you access services and resources in a timely manner.

However, keeping you safe remains our top priority. Because of that, we are restricting in-person interactions and limiting operations to promote social distancing practices due to the ongoing concerns of COVID-19.

Student Health Services

Student Health Services will remain open 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. Monday – Friday to provide health care services to students.

All the normal services are available – routine and preventive care, illness and minor injuries, on-site laboratory and medication services.

Appointments are available by calling 316-978-4792. Appointments times will be spaced to accommodate social distancing in the clinic setting.

Students experiencing fever, cough, and/or shortness of breath are asked to please call Student Health before coming into the center.

The myShockerHealth portal (studenthealth.wichita.edu) can also be used to send a secure message to a health provider.

All students will be screened prior to entrance to the center. Additional visitors are asked to stay home.

Starting Thursday, March 26, please use the southwest entrance to access the Student Wellness Center. This entrance is off the parking lot closest to the lake.
