May 24, 2019 - Wichita State University students Sarah Myose and Abigail Sheahan worked at organizations that help people overcome language barriers as part of their service-learning project. Both said the experiences improved their leadership skills and opened potential career paths.
Feb. 3, 2019 -- Wichita State psychology professor and chair Rhonda Lewis and Chelsea Redger-Marquardt, associate director of student involvement, want their students to get out of the classroom and into the community. Then the students connect their community service to their classroom with reflection, discussion, projects and papers.
