Nov. 30, 2022 — Delane Vaughn loved science and her biology teacher at Mulvane High School – Joe Johnson – started her on a path to Wichita State University as the first person in her family to attend college. She worked, raised a family and attended WSU and the University of Kansas School of Medicine.

Sept. 1, 2022 — A Wichita State University research team has received funding from the National Institutes of Health for their proposal, “Examining the feasibility of a wearable device for fetal heart rate monitoring through interdisciplinary research.”

June 27, 2022 — The WSU College of Health Professions was awarded a $100,000 grant from the Patterson Family Foundation to support scholarships for health professions students from rural Kansas counties. June 3, 2022 - The Dr. Sam and Jacque Kouri Collection Study Center offers Wichita State University students, educators, and the community a place to experience the museum’s collection in an intimate and expanded way.
