Break into the business of sports!
Wichita State University's Sport Management program prepares undergraduate and graduate students for careers in the management
of sport entertainment, sport participation and sporting goods organizations.
At WSU, you'll go beyond the classroom, honing your skills and developing contacts
in real-world settings throughout the city and across the nation.
Internships provide students with the opportunity to utilize knowledge gained through
their classes, to enhance their portfolios, to network with sport managers, and to
take an important step in establishing themselves as practicing sport managers.
Studying abroad gives you the chance to meet peers and mentors in your field from
all over the world. Not only will you form valuable connections for the future, but
you will form friendships which last long beyond the return home.
A degree in sport management is designed to prepare students to compete for jobs in
the sport industry including intercollegiate athletics, major league and minor league
professional sports, fitness, recreation, and specialized sport business.
