Widener Global Leaders Program 2022-2023 Class

The Widener Global Leaders Program is in full swing after the monumental success it had in its first year during the 2021-2022 school season. The WGLP is a yearlong, interdisciplinary program focused on developing student leaders with a global, innovative mindset led by the W. Frank Barton School of Business and in close collaboration with the Fairmount College of Liberal Arts and Sciences and College of Fine Arts at Wichita State University.

Dr. Duane Nagel

The W. Frank Barton School of Business at Wichita State University has announced that Dr. Duane Nagel has been selected at the chair for the college’s marketing department. Nagel has worked within the Barton School for more than six years as an assistant and associate professor.

The W. Frank Barton School of Business has named Dr. Christine Porter as its new School of Accountancy director. Porter is replacing Dr. Greg Merrill who left in August.
