Scholarships allow students:
- To maintain employment as paraprofessionals or longterm substitutes within their district throughout the program
- The opportunity to earn the Limited TAP License and become the teacher of record before graduation
- To enjoy the lowest tuition in Kansas to earn a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education, Early Childhood Unified, Middle Level Math, and Middle Level Science
Scholarships not available in the following counties: Butler, Douglas, Johnson, Leavenworth, Reno, Riley, Saline, Sedgwick, Shawnee, and Wyandotte
To Apply:
- Complete the general application form on the Scholarship Universe platform. Include student's grade level, GPA, major, etc.
- Complete the FAFSA. If students cannot complete the FAFSA, they should submit an essay describing their need for financial aid in detail.
- Write and submit an essay outlining student's academic and career goals.
- Include an activities chart showcasing extracurricular involvement.
- Students should answer as many matching questions as possible on the Scholarship Universe platform
