The Wichita State College of Engineering annually hosts Introduce a Girl to Engineering Day (IGED), a national event to inspire high school students to explore the exciting world of engineering. Join us on Thursday, March 12, 2026!

Connecting Students With STEM

Introduce a Girl to Engineering Day inspires and empowers high school students to pursue careers in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) fields through a day of mentorship. The students participate in hands-on STEM activities, listen to inspirational speakers and meet people from the engineering and computing industries, including professionals, Wichita State faculty and students. Included is an opportunity fair featuring companies from STEM fields.
