The Wichita State University College of Engineering will offer a free workshop for
teachers, parents, and mentors who are interested in building a new robotics team
to compete in the 2018 Shocker MINDSTORMS Challenge on April 21, 2018.
The workshop will introduce newcomers to MINDSTORMS Robotics and provide tips on forming
and preparing a team to participate in the MINDSTORMS Challenge.The workshop will
be led by Steve Smith, long-time MINDSTORMS Coach and WSU Engineering Robotics Summer
Camp instructor. Steve has led numerous robotics workshops for teachers and others
interested in using robotics as a tool to engage students, teach STEM skills, and
Robotics kits, computers, and software will be provided. Space is limited, so register early.
Pizza and soft drinks will be provided for lunch.
