The Archaeology of Food Laboratory is managed by Dr. Crystal Dozier. This space has facilities and reference collections for a variety of different archaeological analyses and experiments concerning the history of food. Undergraduate laboratory assistants regularly assist in the experiments and maintanence of the lab. Graduate students are free to use the laboratory for advanced study and in their own research.




The Archaeology of Food Laboratory is in the process of growing to equip several genres of archaeological study. We currently maintain reference collections and equipment for the following types of archaeological research, with a focus on the ecology of the Southern Plains.
