We are pleased to announce that Dr. Stephanie Newbold, Director of the Hugo Wall School of Public Affairs, has been appointed to the Program Committee at Heartspring. Located in Wichita, Heartspring is a dedicated therapeutic school and pediatric clinic that provides interdisciplinary therapies that help children with neurodevelopmental differences realize their full potential in communication, social interactions, mobility, and daily living. Heartspring also partners with WSU’s College of Health Professions to provide physical therapy and audiology services.

Hugo Wall School proudly announces that two students have been awarded scholarships from the Kansas Association of City/County Management (KACM). Luke Grimes received the Virgil Basgall Scholarship, and Nathan York received the KACM Scholarship.

The Hugo Wall School of Public Affairs has achieved its highest ranking ever in the U.S. News & World Report Best Graduate Schools rankings. The school is now ranked #92 out of 266 public affairs graduate programs nationwide, moving up four spots from last year. Regionally, Hugo Wall ranks #16 in the Midwest and is second in Kansas. The Public Finance and Budgeting specialty is ranked #17 nationally, tying with Harvard’s Kennedy School of Government.
