Any instructor who would like to use the PC Labs will need to contact the SSRLab.  If space is available, the staff will schedule your request in our PCLab calendar.  If your request is for the semester, after approval from SSRLab, you will need to request in Schedule Builder for a room change.  The Registrar office does not schedule our labs unless there is approval from our office.                                                                  

Use of PC Labs

  • No food or drink allowed in the computer labs.
  • Users will sign in to the computers using their WSUID and password. Make sure you sign out once you are done.
  • Microsoft Office, SPSS/AMOS, R Studio, Acrobat Reader, and Google Chrome/Edge are available on the computers.  There is a network printer available for use.  Papercut software is installed for printing charges.
  • It is the instructors responsibility to teach the students how to use the software needed for the class and guidelines for the lab.
  • Please do not save files or data on the computers.  You can save files in Blackboard or on a usb drive.
  • There are projectors in the labs connected to the instructors PC.
  •  If any special equipment will be needed for your class, please check with the SSRLab Staff to see if that equipment is available. If not, the instructor will then need to arrange with Media Resource Center to deliver the equipment to 429 LH.
  •  The SSRLab staff will assist with computer problems and basic questions. Course related questions or how to use the software will need to be directed to the instructor.

The SSRLab will have a lost and found box if items are left behind.  The SSRLab is not responsible for ANYTHING lost.
