Curriculum

The 12-credit-hour certificate consists of two required courses: Polymer Processing and Technology and Tissue Engineering. In addition to the required courses, students select two electives from an approved list that includes Biomolecular and Cellular Engineering, Mechanobiology of Cells and Tissue, Biodegradable Materials, Polymeric Composite Materials, Advanced Biomaterials, Experimental Molecular Biology or Independent Study and Research.
