Undergraduate CertificatePopulation Health

An undergraduate certificate in population health (UGC-PH) from Wichita State equips students with foundational knowledge in public and community health, epidemiology, aging, cultural competence and health communication. Students develop practical skills to assess and address health disparities, engage diverse populations, and promote wellness across the lifespan.

This certificate is one of three stackable credentials — alongside the Healthcare Management certificate and Healthcare Systems certificate — that build from the 45 credit hours of foundational content within the Bachelor of Science (BS) in health management (BSHM) program, making it a valuable option for career development or continued education.
