Dr. Ryan Beeken
Director of Choral Activities and Associate Director, School of Music
Now in his seventh year at Wichita State University, Dr. Ryan Beeken serves as director of choral activities and associate director for the School of Music. Since arriving in 2019, Beeken has elevated the university’s choral program to national recognition through peer-reviewed performances, guest conducting, conference presentations, and innovative collaborations with the Wichita Symphony and community partners. Dr. Beeken is a passionate educator and conductor and has led ensembles and workshops across the nation and abroad. His work reflects a deep commitment to artistry, wellness, and the transformative power of collective singing to build empathy and connection.
