
Dr. Robert Zettle
Professor of Clinical-Community Psychology
Dr. Robert Zettle is a professor of psychology completing his 41st year at Wichita State University. He served as director of training for the department’s accredited doctoral program in clinical psychology from 2017 until the spring of 2025. A recognized peer-reviewed trainer in acceptance and commitment therapy and a fellow of the Association of Contextual Behavioral Science, Dr. Zettle received the President’s Distinguished Service Award in 2022. He has authored one book, co-edited another, and published more than 40 papers exploring processes that contribute to human suffering and its alleviation.
