- Exchange students are required to live on campus in the dormitories during their time at Dankook. Accommodations are budgeted at a total of 1,600,000 won per semester, plus a 100,000 housing fee. These fees are estimated for a flat rate in a 4 month period.
- Dankook University has a one time registration fee of 60,000 won.
- Estimate for meals is based on an average amount (15,000 won) for eating in the on-campus cafeteria 3 times a day for 150 days.
- Dankook offers a free shuttle system around campus. Estimated cost for other transportation around the city was given by Dankook University.
- Dankook has provided an estimated book cost of 100,000 won.
- The GeoBlue Student Insurance Plan is required for international travel. The total cost is based on the total number of days the student is abroad. As of July 2024, it cost $1.46 per day for a maximum $100,000 coverage and $100 deductible. 150 days (5 months) will be approximately $219. There are different coverage plans available at different prices.
- The university also requires students to get a national health insurance for 280,000KRW.
- A Student Visa is required in Korea for those who wish to study. The Visa fee is $45.
- Airfare cost was provided according to Orbitz as of July 2024 with travel dates of January 6, 2025 – June 2, 2025. This should provide a good estimate to cover the airfare expense.
- Personal expense estimates are provided by Financial Aid for students living on the WSU campus, which will be similar during a study abroad program.
* Tuition and Fees are based on the Resident rate for 12 undergraduate credit hours at Wichita State University. Students will pay their current tuition rate during the study abroad program based on their residency and any specific college/department requirements.
