When reviewing academic records from institutions outside the U.S., the university will determine whether an applicant's education is equivalent to a U.S. bachelor's degree. Below is a list of diplomas and certificates from various countries that may be considered equivalent.

If an equivalent is not met,  admission may not be considered. If you have any questions, the university recommends a credit evaluation.


Afghanistan: Bachelor, Leicanc (Bachelor, Licence)

Bangladesh: Bachelor degree (4 year program or more), Master of Arts/Science/Commerce

Brazil: Bacharel / Bacharelado, Licenciado / Licenciatura (Bach., Lic.)(Bachelor's / Licenciate)

Canada: Bachelor's (4 year program)

China, People's Republic of: Bachelor degree, (Dip) (Diploma of Graduation)

Ethiopia: Bachelor Degree

Ghana: West African School Certificate/ GCE "O" Levels

India: Bachelor Degree (4 year program) or 3 year Bachelor Degree plus 1 year Post Graduate Diploma (PGDIP)

Iran: Karshenasi / Lesans (Licentiate), Bachelor Degree

Kenya: Bachelor Degree

Mexico: Licenciado (4 year), Titulo (4 year)

Nepal: Bachelor Degree (4 year program), Master Degree following a 2 or 3 year bachelor Degree

Nigeria: Bachelor Degree

Pakistan: Bachelor degree (4 years or 3 years + 1 year of Honours), Bachelor of Engineering, Master's degree (2 years following a 2 or 3 year bachelor degree).

Paraguay: Licenciado (Lic) (Licenciate), Ingeniero (Ing)

Russian Federation: Bakalavr, Specialist Diploma

Saudi Arabia: Bachelor Degree

Sri Lanka: Bachelor Degree, Higher National Diploma (HND)

United Kingdom: Bachelor Degree

Vietnam: Cu Nhan / Bang Tôt Nghiêp Dai Hoc Licence (Lic) Bachelor (BA, BS) (Bachelor's Degree / Licentiate / Diploma of Higher Education Graduate)

Zimbabwe: Bachelor Degree
