International Education Week 2022
This year's international education week runs from Nov. 14 - 18. Check out our list of events below to join us in celebrating our diverse population of international students here at Wichita State!
Virtual International Trivia | Monday, Nov. 14 - Wednesday, Nov. 16
Answer a different set of 20 questions daily from Monday, Nov. 14 through Wednesday, Nov. 16. The Top 3 winners will receive a prize package. Please use your WSU email address when joining the quiz platform so we will have a way to contact you if you win. Winners will be contacted on Friday, Nov. 18. Click the appropriate button to access a quiz on each day! There's a limit of 100 participants per trivia game, so make sure to join early.
*Each quiz opens at 8 a.m. and will close by 8 a.m. the following day.
Shocker World Tour | 11:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. | Tuesday, Nov. 15 | RSC 1st Floor
Learn more about the different countries and cultures represented here at Wichita State by going on our Shocker World Tour! Stop by each table display to learn some facts and answer a trivia question. If you make at 5 stops on your tour, you'll get to take a "souvenir" with you.
Are you passionate about sharing your country/culture with others? If so, we would love to invite you to host a table.
Friendsgiving | 12 - 2 p.m. | Wednesday, Nov. 16 | RSC 3rd Floor Beggs Ballroom
Gather around the table to hear the history of Thanksgiving and enjoy a delicious meal. Join in the festivities of a gratitude tree, share with students about the traditions of home and spend time with other Shockers! Registration is required. Lunch will be provided on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Are you interested in hearing the stories of international students here at Wichita State? Come eat your lunch with us and listen to stories from students in Wichita State's Intensive English Language Program. Light snacks will be provided. You're sure to learn a lot!
