Why I chose my major
I chose my major because as I grew up, I always liked going to school and loved the
creativity that teachers were allowed in their classroom. I always knew I wanted to
be a teacher or at least work in the education field. I enjoy learning something new
about how our small humans work and why they behave or think in a certain way.
Involvement
I am involved in Student Ambassador Society (SAS), the Hispanic American Leadership
Organization, and Corazon Latina.
Why I chose Wichita State
I chose Wichita State because the opportunities I was given here were a once-in-a-lifetime
opportunity for a low-income, first-generation student like me and I could not pass
it up.
Favorite thing about WSU
My favorite thing about Wichita State is how close to home it is so that maintaining
a school-life balance is easier. I also love all the different events that the university
puts on for students to get involved and get to know people they might've never talked
to outside of them.
