Why I chose my major
I chose Aerospace Engineering because I grew up around aviation. I have always been
drawn to math and science, so this major felt perfect! I enjoy the challenge of this
major, but also the excitement of a future career in aviation.
Involvement
I am involved in Student Ambassador Society (SAS), Society of Women Engineers (SWE),
and the Honors College. I also work as a student assistant for both the Admissions
Office and the Office of International Education.
Why I chose Wichita State
I chose Wichita State because of the internship and career opportunities, but also
because of the environment on campus. Campus is small enough to feel like a family,
but still large enough for there to be new opportunities every day!
Favorite thing about WSU
My favorite thing about Wichita State is the people. I have always felt welcome on
campus and like I belong. While academics may be challenging, we all work together
to help each other out.
