Why I chose my major
I wanted to be able to combine my interests in public health and biology to a major
that I would enjoy. I also really enjoy the Honors Baccalaureate major because it
allows me to have more control over my studies and work closely with two mentors to
formulate my degree plan!

Why I chose Wichita State
WSU stood out to me a great deal when I was touring colleges to attend. The people
at WSU truly make the school; everyone who I met with was so helpful and went out
of their way to support me in my college journey. WSU also offers many amazing, applied
learning opportunities. I am currently involved in research on campus, and I was able
to get an internship at WSU before I even attended my first classes of freshman year.
Favorite thing about WSU
I really enjoy being able to live at home and attend such an amazing university —
the people here are amazing, and the resources that campus has are most definitely
beyond those offered by other universities. WSU also offers amazing scholarship opportunities!
