Tracking WSU athletics at the turn of the year is a great pivot point. The men’s and women’s basketball teams start their conference play at the end of December. Wichita is gearing up for a men’s basketball postseason spotlight as INTRUST Bank Arena hosts NCAA tournament opening-round action. Join us at this last Brown Bag of 2026 to hear Athletic Director Kevin Saal share updates about the highs and lows of college athletics with respect to a variety of local, conference, and NCAA-level challenges.
