Join Envision Wichita to learn about the Rehabilitation Act: A Way Forward for Improving Employment of Individuals Who Are Blind. Marco Tarantino, J.D., will present his research accomplishments over the past two years.

Tarantino's Professional Background
Tarantino is an NIB Research Fellow with the Envision Research Institute. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Philosophy from the University of Tampa and Juris Doctor degree from the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law.
His interest in disability employment rights began in his second year of law school when he worked as an Administrative Judges’ (AJs) Rotating Intern in the Federal Sector Hearings Unit within the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, aiding AJs to draft decisions regarding discrimination and harassment matters brought before them by federal sector employees.
He then worked in a similar capacity as an Employment Complaints and Adjudication Division Legal Intern independently reviewing and editing final agency decisions and promoting equal employment opportunity best practices with the Office of Civil Rights at the U.S. Department of the Interior.
