Inspired by Joan Miró’s iconic mural Personnages Oiseaux that graces the façade of the Ulrich Museum of Art, Murmurations is the newest category to Tallgrass Film Festival with a selection of films that highlight the connection between Kansas and Miró’s home country of Spain.

The short films selected for Murmurations will screen at 5:30 p.m. and 8 p.m. at the CAC Theater on WSU’s campus with The Bathtub directed by Sergi Marti (2021) and Homeowners, directed by Pablo Aragüés and Marta Cabrera (2022) at 5:30 p.m.; Mierda, directed by Brett Allen Smith (2022); Finlandia, directed by Horacio Alcalà (2021) at 8 p.m. Please visit tallgrassfilm.org for detailed information on Murmurations and screening times.

Join us at the Ulrich Museum for a reception preceding the screenings from 4 to 5 p.m. Free and open to all!
