On April 3, 1948, the unnamed 7x10x12-foot wind tunnel at the University of Wichita conducted its first low speed wind tunnel test to study the new wind tunnel’s characteristics.
In celebration of the 75th anniversary of what is now the famed Walter H. Beech Wind Tunnel at Wichita State University’s National Institute for Aviation Research, you are invited to an informal come-and-go reception.

Visitor parking is reserved in Lot 6, which is located east of Ahlberg Hall or south of Don Beggs Hall.
