Celebrated American pianist, Dr. Julie Bees, is a Professor of Piano and Director of the Konrad Wolff-Ilse Bing Chamber Music Endowment Award at Wichita State University in Wichita, Kansas. She is also a founding member of The Orfeo Trio, a traveling piano trio that has most recently given recitals and master classes across Southeast Asia, including Malaysia, Singapore, and Thailand. Dr. Bees earned a Bachelor of Music degree from the Peabody Conservatory of Johns Hopkins University. She studied for two years at the Hochschule für Musik in Vienna, Austria, before earning a Doctor of Musical Arts Degree.

Leonid Shukaev is a cellist who belongs to a great Russian cello tradition. Completing his Bachelor Degree and his PhD at the St. Petersburg Conservatory, he was fortunate enough to study with Emanuel Fishmann, the teacher of Misha Maisky, Boris Pergamenshikov. Mr. Shukaev held the position of Professor of Cello and String Quartet while he taught at St. Petersburg Conservatory and the Rimsky-Korsakov Music College. He was on the faculty at Oberlin Conservatory for five years. Mr. Shukaev is also a founding member of The Orfeo Trio.

Evgeny Zvonnikov a Professor of Violin at Wichita State University before moving to Texas where he is now a lecturer of the violin and member of Harrington String Quartet at West Texas A&M. Mr. Zvonnikov received his music degree at St. Petersburg State Conservatory in Russia. He has taught master classes in Dallas, Eureka Springs, San-Francisco Conservatory, Yong Siew toh Conservatory of Music in Singapore and at other universities in Southeast Asia. Mr. Zvonnikov serves as Associate Concertmaster in Wichita Symphony Orchestra and as a Concertmaster in Wichita Grand Opera. He is co-founder of The Orfeo Trio with Julie Bees & Leonid Shukaev.
