Advocacy takes many forms and can be a powerful means of collaboratively facilitating effective change. Advocacy is often confused with activism - two related but distinctly different approaches to achieving desired outcomes. This session will help participants better understand what advocacy is, how it is distinctly different from other forms of social influence, and identify the critical considerations for advocacy efforts to succeed.
