The University Libraries is hosting the virtual U.S. Patent and Trademark Office series “Intellectual Property for Beginners." The next event, Design Patents, will be Friday, November 2, from 11 am - 1 pm in Ablah Library, Room 204.

Part II in the series will give a more in-depth overview on design patents, as well as how and when an entrepreneur or business might consider applying for a design patent as opposed to, or in addition to, a utility patent.
