The Global Village Assembly is an annual open mic event hosted by Women's, Ethnicity, and Intersectional Studies (WEIS). Each year, it centers on a theme relevant and related to current conversations on gender, sexuality, race, ethnicity, class, and the intersectional experience at WSU. This year's theme is Change and Transformation.

This event is open to all students, faculty, and staff across the university and greater Wichita area communities. It is a unique opportunity to share about life at WSU and consider changes that we can all do to provide a more equitable space of belonging.
