To facilitate the collaboration between WSU, KU, and WSU Tech in the new Wichita Biomedical Campus, the WSU President’s Advisory Council (PIAC) has initiated an annual, one-day event for faculty to discuss interinstitutional research collaboration opportunities. This year, HealthHum is taking the lead with PIAC as co-sponsor. 

This year the roundtable will be separated into two parts. The morning session will focus on opportunities for research collaboration, and we are reaching out to community and industry partners to participate. The research scope will include a broad intersection of clinical work, the arts, humanities, applied studies and all the health-related work done. We will have short flash presentations on current research for our selected themes, followed by breakout discussions to allow members of the community to discuss ongoing and future research projects.

The afternoon roundtable/brainstorming session will focus on educational collaboration opportunities like shared courses, guest lectures, course modules, or other ways to make our curricula richer or more efficient.
