The WSU Department of History will host its Spring 2026 Lecture at 6 p.m. on Thursday, March 26 in Hubbard Hall 209.
The event will feature Dr. Erik Huneke, Professor of History at the University of Central Oklahoma, who will present a lecture titled “‘Til the Vestiges of Capitalism Do Us Part: Romance, Marriage, and Divorce behind the Berlin Wall.” This talk will explore the complexities of intimate relationships in East Germany and the ways in which they were shaped by the political and economic realities of life behind the Berlin Wall.
