This is our chance to celebrate your years of hard work and dedication to your goal of graduating from WSU! Bring along a few guests and enjoy hors d'oeuvres, a cash bar, champagne toast and door prizes. Attending graduates will receive a commemorative WSU champagne flute following a brief program presented by President Muma, Vice President of Student Affairs, Teri Hall and Vice President for Alumni Engagement, Stacie Williamson.

Commencement

Wichita State University Commencement honors the hard work and dedication of Wichita State graduate and welcomes family and community to campus to share in this momentous occasion. Students wishing to walk in their commencement ceremony must register ahead of time with the Registrar's Office.

Commencement is held at Charles Koch Arena located on the WSU main campus at the corner of 21st and Hillside.

The Wichita Mid-Continent Airport is the closest commercial airport to WSU. All necessary hotel accommodations for out-of-town guests should be made early to guarantee reservations.

Stay Close to Campus

Want to stay close to campus? Here are two options that will make the commute to and from campus a little easier. The Hyatt Place at Wichita State University is located on the east side of the main campus and includes over 100 guest rooms including standard king and double rooms, suites with kitchenettes and accessible accommodations located on the 1st floor. Aloft Wichita is located 6 minutes away, just north of campus near K-96 and Oliver.

Guest and graduate parking at The Toast is not reserved. Since there is a limited amount of parking near the Rhatigan Student Center carpooling is encouraged.
