WSU students who need free professional clothing for career fairs, interviews and
professional development opportunities should attend the Career Closet Events held
in the fall and spring semesters. Items available may include suits, dress pants,
professional shirts or blouses, and professional skirts.
Throughout the semester, we host professional photo events called Head Shocks, where
WSU students, faculty, and staff are welcome to attend. These pictures can be emailed
right away and be used for anything you would like! For example, a LinkedIn photo,
on Handshake or any other professional website of your choice. You may also schedule
an appointment with the Shocker Career Accelerator to take your photo at a time that
works better for you!
WSU and Parker Dewey are excited to bring you Kansas Micro-Internships. These are
short-term, professional, paid work experiences, many of which can be completed remotely.
Typically, interns will work anywhere from 5 to 40 hours a week, and students can
be selected for multiple Micro-Internships.
