Research Focused

With research areas that span the full range of biological sciences, our faculty and staff have established an environment that supports undergraduates and graduate student research.

The Biology Department offers a broad and flexible curriculum leading to a BA and BS degrees, a biochemistry field major with the Department of Chemistry, a Certificate in Pre-Genetic Counseling, and an interdisciplinary BS degree in Forensic Science.

The Master of Science program is offered under either a research thesis or non-thesis option. Research training is available in microbiology, cell, molecular, endocrine, organismal, reproductive, and environmental biology.
