Overview

Abu Asaduzzaman joined Wichita State University (WSU) as an Assistant Professor of Computer Architecture in August 2010. He holds both a Ph.D. and an M.S. in Computer Engineering from Florida Atlantic University. Dr. Asaduzzaman’s research interests include computer systems, high-performance computing, and machine learning. He has authored over 27 refereed journal articles and more than 117 peer-reviewed conference papers. Dr. Asaduzzaman has received research grants from Kansas NSF EPSCoR, the Department of Energy's Argonne National Laboratory, Nvidia, NetApp, and other organizations. He reviews for NSF programs and IEEE journals. He serves as a committee member for IEEE conferences. A senior member of the IEEE and a member of the ASEE, he is also affiliated with honor societies including Phi Kappa Phi, Tau Beta Pi, Upsilon Pi Epsilon, and Golden Key. As an invited speaker, Dr. Asaduzzaman has presented his research at professional forums in Bangladesh, Japan, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Turkey, and the USA. He is currently a full professor and serves as the Associate Chair of his department.
