Overview
Robyn Bongartz serves as Associate Vice President of Finance and Operations for Industry and Defense Programs at Wichita State University, where she drives strategic financial leadership and operational excellence. With over three decades in higher education, Robyn has led transformative initiatives that modernized financial systems and improved operational efficiency. She is proud to have assisted with the implementation of Banner known today as Ellucian and TouchNet which is a payment processor. She can relate to the returning adult as she worked full-time when earning her bachelors and masters. Robyn is passionate about fostering collaboration and building diverse networks that spark innovation and drive results. Her leadership earned her team the 2016 CACUBO Best Practices Award, and she has delivered numerous presentations at local, regional, and national conferences on topics she is passionate and champions. Robyn has been a member of KASFAA (Kansas Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators), Kansas Bursar group, CACUBO (Central Association of College & University Business Officers), NACUBO (National Association of College & University Business Officers), and Treasurer of PacWest Student Financial Services. When she is not using her head to inspire processes and influence her team, she uses her heart to enjoy her family.
