Academic Interests and Expertise
Master of Science, Experimental Psychology (Oakland University)
Research interests predominantly focus on novel treatment of trauma and related symptoms
and post-traumatic growth. I also have a long-standing interest in health care equity
and the effects of social support on mental well-being.
Clinically, I utilize a person-centered approach and often incorporate aspects of
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance
and Commitment Therapy (ACT).
