Bio

Fabian Gracia serves as the Director of Community Outreach and Engagement for the 69th Session of the Student Government Association. Director Gracia decided to join the SGA President’s Cabinet because he saw it as an opportunity to continue his personal goal of being intentional and impactful throughout his college career, while also widening his influence from his current organizations to the broader campus community. As a student, Director Gracia believe college is about more than just coursework. It is about growth, leadership, and the chance to be a catalyst for others to reach their full potential. He strives to embody that through his involvement in the Student Government Association as the Director of Community Engagement & Outreach, in Sigma Phi Epsilon as the Vice President of Programming, in the Honors College as an Honors Ambassador, and as a member and volunteer in SHPE, HSF, and Shocker Buddies.

Goal

Director Gracia's goals for this Session include:

  • Reach Student Populations Across Organizations and Colleges
Build events this school year that intentionally reach students across different colleges (engineering, business, and others) and organizations. This including creating events that reach students throughout the day and with different schedules.
  • Build Lasting Campus Pride and Culture
Revive and introduce lasting campus traditions that give students a sense of ownership and belonging at WSU, not just one-off entertainment. Create real, informal touchpoints between SGA leadership and students so campus culture feels built with students, not delivered to them.
  • Make Every Event Measurable and Data-Informed
Track attendance consistently across every event this session so programming decisions are grounded in real student feedback. By semester's end, produce a report showing attendance trends and how each events addressed documented student needs.
