What is SGA?
The Student Government Association started in 1912.
The Office of Ombudsman was created in 1968 to provide the WSU community with informal
assistance in resolving intra-campus conflicts, disputes, and grievances; in promoting
fair and equitable treatment within the University; and in fostering the general well-being
of the WSU community. The name was changed to Student Advocate during the Spring of
2001.
