Open Positions
Serving on the Student Government Association is an honor and a privilege. We thank
you in advance for considering to apply for one of our open positions within the Student
Government Association. Applications for the 65th Session are now open. The Student Government has a few positions still open.
The Executive Branch, leads the vision of the Student Body President and works to
further Senate actions and enforce Judicial orders. The Executive Branch manages the
programming, scholarships, outreach and engagement efforts for the Association.
Open Position:
- Student Organization Council Chair
The Application will open on April 11th. The Legislative Branch consists of the Student Senate, which establishes policies
through legislation and annually allocates more than $9.5 million in student fees.
Senators represent specified portions of the Student Body, including each academic
college and certain demographics, such as veterans and out of state students.

- Applied Studies Senator (3 seats open)
- Honors Senator (1 Seat Open)
- At-Large Senator (2 Seats Open)
- Underserved Senator (1 Seat Open)
- Military and Veteran Senator (1 Seat Open)
- Freshman Senator (3 Seats Open)
The Judicial Branch includes the Supreme Court, which is comprised of Justices appointed
by the Student Body President and faculty appointed by the Faculty Senate. The Court
meets on a case-by-case basis to hear cases submitted by students and to ensure compliance
with the Constitution, Bylaws, and Statutes.
There are no seats open on the Court.
