Bio
Braeden Miller serves as the director for Health and Wellness for the 69th Session of the Student Government Association. Director Miller joined SGA during the 67th Session as part of the Freshman Leadership Council (FLC) where he greatly appreciated having the opportunity to interact with students and engage in professional development opportunities. After serving on FLC, he ran and was elected Liberal Arts and Sciences Senator for the 69th Session. During this time, he advocated for low-income, first-generation students, social serves and undergraduate researchers. Now as the Director of Health and Wellness, his commitment to health and wellness is informed by his time working with studends at the Student Health Services Office as well as CAPS where he got to witness the impact these services have on students' everyday lives. As a psycology undergraduate student pursuing a career as a clinical psycologist, he recognizes the importance of access and quality of wellness services to leading a healthy and fullfilling life.
Goal
Director Miller's main goals this session are to:
- Cultivate a community of care and resiliency by collaborating with our wellness services, engage in programming to disseminate important health information and resouces to students.
- Engage a verisimilitude of student perspectives by engaging in outreach with previously unreached student populations and advocate to close health gaps between students.
- Utlize the data that is already on campus, such as our National Collegiate Health Assessment data and our Student Health Sevices annual report to make informed decisions about advocating student wellness.

Weird food combo: Sandwiches made out of Thanksgiving leftovers, especially turkey and mashed potatoes.
