The Kansas WISE Mentoring Program’s mission is to empower, encourage, inspire and support Women In State Employment through mentorship. The program’s vision is to develop and establish opportunities, guidelines and processes that will provide mentoring support for Women In State Employment.

May – August: Group Mentoring

Join Kansas WISE Mentoring for a unique professional development experience tailored for women in state employment. From May through August, you can join a group mentoring session where you can support one another in your professional and personal growth through the sharing of experiences, knowledge, and resources. Sessions will feature guest mentors.

Each monthly event will include four engaging breakout sessions. Here’s how you can be a part of this enriching experience:

  1. Explore the Options: Review the dates of each event and the four breakout sessions available. You can choose from Networking and Relationship Building, Building Resilience, Digital Literacy and Cybersecurity Awareness, and Exploring Non-Traditional Career paths. All four breakouts will occur on each date available.
  2. Indicate Your Preferences: Using the application link below, select the months and sessions that align with your interests and availability.
  3. Await Your Assignment: While you may choose multiple preferences, the mentoring organizers will assign you to one event and session to ensure broad participation and a small group setting for all attendees.

Application is first come, first served, but preference will be given to those who have not previously participated in the Kansas WISE Mentoring Program. Space is limited, so please apply soon.
