Pronouns are essential in the way we communicate with one another. Gender pronouns are the terms people choose to refer to themselves that reflect their gender identity. These might be he/him, she/her or gender-neutral pronouns such as they/them. Learn about why pronouns are important and how to use them correctly. In addition, Wichita State University has announced that students, faculty and staff can update their pronouns in their myWSU portal using Banner Self-Service.
