Registering in Kansas
There are a few ways to register to vote in Kansas:
- Online. This option is only available to residents who possess a valid Kansas driver's license or non-driver's identification card. If your student has one of these forms of ID, they can register here.
- By mail. Your student can print, fill out and mail this form to register to vote by mail.
- In person. Your student can register to vote in person at a Kansas county election office or at any of the locations listed on this page.
After allowing time for processing, your student can confirm their registration through the Kansas page at MyVoteInfo.org.
Please be aware that, in order to be eligible to vote in a given election, your student’s application must be postmarked at least 21 days before the election takes place. These deadlines can be viewed here.
