Our Mission
The AI Strategy Council comprises faculty and staff from across the university and involves hundreds more through focus groups, training opportunities and discussion groups, ensuring that all voices are heard on the issues surrounding AI.
The council envisions an academic institution where artificial intelligence (AI) is thoughtfully and ethically embedded into every facet of university life—enhancing operational excellence, enriching teaching and learning, and accelerating research and innovation. With faculty, staff, and students at the heart of this transformation, we strive to cultivate a dynamic, inclusive, and future-ready campus that harnesses AI to enhance human potential, foster interdisciplinary collaboration, and advance the Wichita State University mission and priorities.
